Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo received a European Hotel Award for the “Best Hotel Website” from the International Hotel Awards sponsored by EY and Virgin Atlantic. Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo competed against a number of hotels and resorts to receive this recognition. Europe’s finest hoteliers gathered at the glamorous Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Sunday, November 3rd to attend a glittering gala and to hear the long-anticipated results of the International Hotel Awards.
Awards were given out for the region’s most impressive hotels for a variety of categories and property types including Best Spa Hotel, Best Small Hotel, Best Sustainable Hotel and Best Resort Hotel. Awards were also given for hotel architecture, construction, interior design, marketing and website. Each winning company was announced as either a ‘Highly Commended’ or ‘5-Star’ winner and presented with special plaques during the awards ceremony. A highly experienced team of professionals who cover the whole range of hospitality disciplines judged entries prepared by the hotels and selected the winners. The Chairman of the Judging Panel is Sir David Michels, retired CEO of Hilton Hotels.
The 5-Star winners were placed under further examination and just one from each category was named a regional European winner. The regional winners, also known as ‘International Nominees’, were judged against other nominees from Asia, the Middle East, Africa, the UK, and the Americas. At the close of the awards gala, just one International Nominee for each category received the ultimate accolade of being named the ‘World’s Best.’

The International Hotel Awards global competition determines the finest hotels and hospitality companies in the world. They were developed to identify, highlight and reward excellence in the global hospitality industry throughout a range of disciplines. In addition to categories for several types of specialty hotels and categories by hotel size, there are also categories for hotel architecture, construction, interior design, marketing and website. The awards are open to hoteliers, hotel developers and builders, interior designers, architects, public relations and advertising agencies and web designers. The awards are split into regions covering Asia Pacific, Arabia, Africa, the Americas, Europe and the UK. Participants enter representing their country and have the chance to win at a national, regional, or international level.
