Monaco lit up in pink in support of International Breast Cancer awareness Month

At nightfall on Thursday, October 3rd, the façade of the Monte-Carlo Casino will be illuminated in pink as a gesture of support towards breast cancer victims.

On October 3rd, 2013, Pink Ribbon Monaco organise their 3rd breast cancer awareness campaign.

At nightfall, the Monte-Carlo Casino and the Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo entrance will be illuminated in pink lights, in a gesture of support to victims of breast cancer and to promote awareness of the disease.

With this colourful display and for the third consecutive year, October 3rd 2013 will mark the beginning of breast cancer awareness month in the Principality, and across the world, joining forces with over 200 cities and 40 countries.

For the 3rd year running, in partnership with Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo, Monte-Carlo SBM Group and Sharkprod (who has yet again this year fully donated the entire production of the illumination) October 3rd 2013 will launch International Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the Principality.

Pink Ribbon Monaco is run by Natasha Frost, Creina Nicholls and Carine Noaro and aims to promote screening methods and awareness to the disease while assisting breast cancer victims in Monaco and its neighbouring region. Funds collected will go to the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace.
